Lydia Johnson - Project Support

Lydia Faith Johnson (she/they) has been working in arts and entertainment for the past decade and is still discovering new facets of engagement. Lydia has worked as a stage manager, researcher, event manager, company manager, theatrical facilities assistant, assistant technical director, and producer. Lydia is currently a production assistant focusing on art for the tv show, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. In addition to their work in the arts, Lydia has spent years working in customer service learning how to build relationships and manage conflict. In their role with Create Today, Lydia has conducted environmental scans, collected and organized data, and established trends for a number of clients including Theater Mitu, Usdan Summer Camp, and Caramoor. Lydia is a recent graduate of Purchase College. Lydia is passionate about helping create and foster artistic spaces focused on compassion, empathy, and understanding to unleash creativity. They believe that the arts are an important means of communication and are an effective way to bring people together.
Lydia has been supporting Create Today since 2021 and is based in Westchester, New York. She has a BA in Arts Management from Purchase College, State University of New York.
